Jam Club Victoria & GMA Inc: Healing Through Music

After more than half a century at its iconic Tarwin Street location, the historic Jam Club Victoria has found a new home at 14 Swan Road, Morwell, Victoria 3840. Originally established in 1969, the Jam Club was renowned for hosting legendary Australian rock artists and shaping the country’s live music culture.

Now revitalized, Jam Club Victoria continues its legacy by collaborating with local musicians, artists, and mental health advocates across Gippsland, offering programs that combine musical creativity with emotional support.

Partnering with GMA Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving mental health in the Gippsland community, the new Jam Club Function Centre (Units 1 & 2, 14 Swan Road) serves as a safe and inclusive resource hub for underage youth and adults alike.

Together, Jam Club Victoria and GMA Inc host live music events, fundraisers, private functions, and community programs designed to support individuals living with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, emotional distress, and suicidal ideation. Their mission extends beyond entertainment—using music as a tool for healing, education, and connection.

By working alongside mental health professionals, counselors, industry collaborators, sponsors, local councils, and the Victorian Police, the initiative fosters a nurturing environment for personal growth and community unity. Future plans include launching certified music production courses and developing a registered mental health center by 2026, strengthening the bridge between music, mental wellness, and social inclusion.

At its heart, Jam Club Victoria remains a place where music brings people together—restoring hope, connection, and family unity.
